Job Summary

• Instructs groups in exercise activities.

General Accountabilities

• Demonstrates techniques and form, observe participants and explains corrective measures to improve their skills and help avoid injury.
• Accommodates different levels of fitness by offering alternatives during classes.
• Plans classes, choose appropriate music and selects different movements for each set of muscles while considering participants’ capabilities and limitations.
• Monitors participants’ progress and adapts programs as necessary.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or training in a vocational school
• Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with 1-2 years of related experience
