Freight Broker/Dispatcher

Freight Broker for Air Charter Freight & Trucking Dispatching needed. Grand Rapids based expedited air freight and trucking company is looking for a freight coordinator and someone to assist with office responsibilities in this smaller company. Responsibilities include the setup and coordination of expedited door to door air charter shipments throughout North America, Canada and Mexico. Handling of details, Multi-tasking, flexibility with being on call with cell and communications are critical in this fast paced customer service driven company. Some night and weekend hours mandatory. Various duties include office support and possible new business development. Qualified must live within 40 minutes of the GR airport and have strong problem solving skills. Other responsibilities will probably include bookkeeping, business development, and office administration. A handling of details, multi-tasking, flexibility of being on call, and professional communication are critical in this fast-paced customer service oriented company. Qualified candidates must be highly motivated, have some college experience, strong problem solving skills, type 30 WAM and 4 years relevant experience.
