RoadLink Workforce Solutions enables our clients to create value for their labor intensive activities within the distribution center (DC) environment. We provide a variety of specialized services, all designed to help our clients gain efficiency and improve productivity within the boundaries of the DC.

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to Security Manager and/or Security Team Lead, the Security Guard is responsible for preventing property loss through theft, vandalism and fire and to protect the safety of the Kentucky Distribution Center associates and visitors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
(Other job duties may be assigned)
-Responsible for day to day operations of security located in Customer warehouse
-Log in all visitors to the facility. Notify person being visited by phone prior to visitor access
-Maintain logs of all incoming and outgoing tractors and trailers, both on paper and electronically as required. Conduct inspections of all outgoing passenger vehicles, both visitor and employee
-Monitor the Simplex alarm system
-Conduct rounds once per shift, every shift. Highly visible on rounds and conducts extra patrols when specialty items are in the warehouse as directed.
-Random fire extinguisher inspections
-Ensures a culture of safety throughout the local site by following all safety policies and procedures.
-Develop relationships with all clients' management team
-Acts as constant communication link between RWS management, associates and client-management

REQUIREMENTS:
-The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
-The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
-The ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
-Reliable transportation to and from work
-Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements
-Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions

Education, Training and Experience preferred
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Prior experience in security and loss prevention preferred, but will train the right person
-Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
