Clariti Diagnostics Laboratories is seeking a dependable Medical Sample Courier to transport clinical specimens between healthcare facilities and the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport blood, urine, cultures, and other biohazardous clinical specimens.

• Maintain specimens at the required transport temperature at all times, regardless of outside weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

• Follow proper biohazard handling, packaging, and specimen transport procedures.

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery while maintaining specimen integrity.

• Maintain accurate pickup/delivery documentation and chain of custody when required.

• Immediately report delays, temperature concerns, spills, damaged specimens, or other transport issues.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

• Dependable and punctual with the ability to follow established routes and time-sensitive pickup requirements.

• Comfortable handling properly packaged biohazardous materials.

• Ability to use approved coolers, insulated containers, temperature-control materials, and other transport equipment correctly.

• Must be available to drive in varying weather conditions.

Critical Requirement:
Specimen integrity is a primary responsibility of this position. Couriers are expected to ensure samples remain within their required transport conditions throughout the entire trip. Outside temperature or weather conditions do not change specimen transport requirements.
