Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Optimum Care Medical is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our busy Primary & Urgent Care practice in Stafford, VA for a full time or part time position. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner needs to have practical experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Primary & Urgent Care settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Secures and evaluates medical health and developmental history of patients in ALL age groups. Assists with the implementation of the policy and procedure program.
• Writes and executes orders in accordance with legal, ethical, state and facility standards.
• Administers medication and treatments safely and as prescribed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduation from an approved Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program.
• Emergency/ Urgent Care experience
• Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Valid DEA License
