Sanitation Worker

As a Sanitation Worker, your main responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas.

Duties include collection and disposal of waste, cleaning of public areas, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, physically able, and possesses a strong work ethic. Understanding of sanitation procedures and a commitment to public health is a must.

Essential Duties and Requirements of the Job:

1.      Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables from bins, containers, and public spaces.

2.      Follow established health and safety regulations.

3.      Report any issues or problems identified during cleaning processes.

4.      Perform minor repairs and maintenance on sanitation equipment as required.

5.      Assist with snow removal or other public works duties as needed.

6.    Other duties as assigned

Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

1.      High school diploma or equivalent

2.      Previous experience as Sanitation Worker is preferred

3.      Knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations is required

4.      Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred

5.      Good communication and teamwork skills.
