FINE DINING ROOM SERVER—Provide hospitality services, primarily serving food and drinks but also contributing to the experience of the diners.  Fine dining servers often meet and welcome customers, seat them swiftly, take drinks orders, provide menus and ensure that all their needs are met.  Fine dining servers need to have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and need to use their initiative to meet customers’ high expectations.

4- ITLAIAN FOOD AND WINE KNOWLEDGE HELPFUL

5-WELCOMING SITTING DINERS COMFORTABLE IN THE DINING SECTION

6-COLLABORATING WITH THE KITCHEN AND BAR STAFF FOR PROMPT AND CORRECT DELIVERY OF ORDERS

7-MEMORIZING THE MENU AND RECOMMEND APPETIZERS, MEALS AND DRINKS FROM RESTAURANTWINE STOCKE

8-DELIVERING A MEMORABLE DINING EXPERIENCE BY RESOLVING ALL CUSTOMER ISSUES PROMPTLY

9-ASSISTING WITH THE TIDYING OF TABLES, CLEARING LEFTOVERS AND KEEPING THE DINING AREA NEAT AND PLEASANT

10-SETTING TABLES AND REARRANGING THE DINING AREA TO ACCOMMODATE LARGER GROUPS AND PREPARE THE RESTAURANT FOR SPECIAL EVENTS

11-ENSURING COOKING UTENSILS AND KITCHEN AREA ARE CLEANED AFTER CLOSING TO COMPLY WITH STATE REGULATIONS

12-HIGH LEVEL OF STAMINA TO WORK TO WORK ON FEET FOR EXTENDED PERIODS

13-PREPARING THE DINING AREA, LAYING AND DECORATING TABLES AND MAKINGSURE THAT ALL FLATWARE AND GLASSES ARE CLEAN AND CORRECTLY POSITIONED.

14-BRINGING MENUS, LISTING AND DESCRIBING SPECIALS, MAKING RECCOMENDATINS AND TAKING ORDERS.

15-SERVING FOOD TO HIGH STANDARDS BY ENSURING THAT ALL DISHES ARE PRESENTED CORRECTLY AND IN A TIMELY  MANNER

16-CHECKING ON DINERS DURING THEIR MEAL TO ASCERTAIN THEIR SATISFACTION LEVELS

17-PREPARING AND DELIVERING CHECKS, TAKING PAYMENTS AND ASSISTING GUESTS  AS THEY LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT

18-PRESENTING THE MENU TO THEM AND INTRODUCING SPECIALS FOR THE DAY OR NEW ITEMS NOT ON THE MENU.  YOU WOULD NEED TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THE MENU AND DESCRIBE ITEMS AND EXPLAIN SOME TERMS AND INFREDIENTS TO THEM IF THEY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

19- PROVIDE REFILLS OF WATER AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

20- ACCOMMODATING CUSTOMER’ NEEDS AND QUESTIONS.

21-UP-SELL WHEN APPROPRIATE

22-KEEP TALBES CLEAN AND TIDY AT ALL TIMES

23- ENGAGE WITH CUSTOMEERS IN A FRIENDLY MANNER

24-ENSURE TABLES ARE ENJOYING THEIR MEALS AND TAKE ACTION TO CORRECT ANY PROBLEM

BEING A GREAT SERVER IS ABOUT BEING ATTENTIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.  THEY MUST HAVE EXCELLENT LISTENIN SKILLS AND BE DETAIL-ORIENTED SINCE THEY HAVE TO UNDEERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT PEOPLE WANT.  THEY ALSO NEED TO ASK THE APPROPRIATE QUESTIONS TO DELIVER THE BEST SERVICE POSSIBLE.
