Industrial Control Panel Assembler

Job Summary:  

• Build, Wire, Tag, & test out Industrial Control Panels. We build small control boxes. Each job is unique. Located in Rochester Hills, MI

Industrial Electrical Control Panel Assembler:

• Read specific drawings or diagrams that illustrate how to assemble the product.
• Layout, tapping, building up of backplates according to customers drawings.
• Wiring crcuit breakers, relays, drives, disconnects, PLC I/O, & terminals according to CAD drawings.
• Make sure all items inside & outside of enclosure are identified correctly.
• Make sure control panels are wired correctly & properly tested.
• Maintain daily hourly records to stay on track with the production plan.
• Communicate with other assemblers to assure consistent production appearance.
• Ensure the Panel Assembly Area is clean and presentable to Customers at all times.
• Must have standard hand tools required for panel assembly & wire work.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 - 2 years of related experience.
• Veterans with electrical technical training welcome.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal & written communication along with critical thinking.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills regarding Industrial Control Electrical Circuitry.
• Capable of dealing with feedback regarding quality of workmanship.
