Housekeeping/ Maintenance Team Lead
Team member will be responsible for the general functioning, cleanliness and organization of this building and grounds. This could be a part-time or a full-time position depending on qualifications and applicants.
To be successful you should demonstrate a sound knowledge of various cleaning methods and excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
Responsibilities
Empty trash in and out of the building
Vacuum
Clean, sanitize & polish restrooms and fixtures
Mop floors of restrooms
Refill all restroom dispensers to normal limits and replace toilet tissue when needed
Fill paper towel dispensers as needed
Dust furniture, windowsills, shelves, desks, picture frames, etc.
Sweep and damp mop all vinyl and tile flooring
Clean water fountains
Check AC filters and replace them when needed
Clean interior and exterior windows
Keep grounds clean and free of debris
Tend to flower beds as needed
Maintain and organize storage areas
Hiring and training of new team members
Holding monthly team meetings and trainings
Working with club managers for maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and ordering or informing management as depleted.
Attending meetings and in-service training as required
Other duties as assigned
Change light bulbs inside and outside as needed
Light Maintenance abilities may be needed from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have the ability to perform essential job functions
Good knowledge of cleaning principles and practices
Must be able to lead a team effectively with good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
PROBLEM-SOLVING:
A team member may occasionally encounter problems with scheduling conflicts and member complaints.
DECISION MAKING:
Decision-making is a factor in this position. Team member must make decisions about prioritizing work
assignments and performing daily duties in the most efficient manner possible.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
The work environment involves minimal hazards, risks or discomforts. Team Members is advised to use
correct body mechanics and to avoid any hazardous conditions that may put the employee at risk
for injury.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job involves physical exertion. Possible adverse working conditions may exist when lifting
equipment and unloading freight. Furniture or equipment may have to be lifted or moved while
floors are being waxed, buffed, or mopped.
