Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Affordable Lock and Security Solutions has been serving West-Central Florida since 1970. With 8 locations and a growing team, we're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Inventory Controller to help keep our technicians supplied, our inventory organized, and our jobs moving smoothly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, can juggle multiple tasks, and isn't afraid to come up with new ideas to improve how things get done.

• Parts Identification & Pricing: Assist technicians with identifying parts, researching products, and providing accurate pricing.

• Job Material Ordering: Order parts and materials needed for approved estimates and scheduled jobs.

• Stock Inventory: Monitor inventory needs and order stock parts for our Tampa and Brandon locations.

• Purchase Order Follow-Up: Track open purchase orders, communicate with vendors, and provide updated lead times to keep everyone informed.

• Inventory Control: Develop and implement creative ways to improve inventory accuracy, organization, and efficiency.

• Vendor Communication: Work with suppliers to confirm availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Team Support: Communicate with technicians, office staff, and management to ensure materials are available when needed.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.

• Good communication and follow-through.

• Someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve processes.

• Experience with inventory management, purchasing, or parts ordering is a plus.

• Familiarity with locksmith, door hardware, or electronic security products is helpful but not required.

• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

• Competitive starting pay of $18.00 per hour, with flexibility based on experience.
