Job Summary
Cares for elderly, disabled, convalescent or handicapped at residences operated by the company.
General Accountabilities
Assists with daily activities at residences operated by the company.
Medical Documentation Upkeep
Appointment Upkeep of clients
Monthly and Quarterly Progress Notes
Assessments
ISP Preparation
Inspection Preparation
Appointment Spreadsheets
Incident Reporting
Purchases and prepares meals and groceries for individuals.
Helps patient up and down stairs, in and out of bed, etc.
Administers oral medication written under doctor prescription.
Accompanies ambulatory patients outside of the home.
Entertains resident by reading, talking, listening to the individual, upon request.
Visits several households to provide similar daily care.
Educated family about status/health of individual being cared for.

Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with mentally disabled adults for Residential Provider Agencies governed by Regulation 6400 of the state of Pennsylvania.
