The Peach Cobbler Factory is looking to hire a strong, experienced Store Manager at the Katy location to oversee all staff, operations, and lead the way to successfully serving the best desserts for our amazing customers to have a Peach Cobbler Factory Experience.  Important qualities are a thoughtful leader, a confident decision-maker, and held to the highest standards of accountability, so integrity is a must.


We want the person we hire to grow with us and be trusted to lead and operate the store efficiently.  We are looking for someone who is a proven leader, sets examples, standards, and most importantly, has a friendly and energetic personality.  The candidate must be able to train, coach, and guide team members and run the business successfully with discipline.

Positions available: Manager


Hours: Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays. Shifts span in varying increments between the operating hours of 11am to 11pm.

 

Pay:  From $34,000/year

 

Peach Cobbler Factory Manager Responsibilities:


    • Assist the General Managers in managing people, enforcing policies, and ensuring day-to-day operations according to company standards.
    • Assist staff to develop while being productive, ensuring profits are on the rise.
    • Follow provided recipes and uphold The Peach Cobbler Factory’s high standards to create eye-catching and delicious desserts.
    • Prep and bake an assortment of items for the day.
    • Take catering orders and ensure they are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Take inventory of store to place accurate supply orders.
    • Check par levels on all products, build all products to daily par levels, maintain expiration dates, and practice FIFO.
    • Maintain and create weekly schedule, ensuring all shifts are covered daily with management/shift leaders being present in store.
    • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality to support the success of our team.
    • Training, motivating, and coaching employees.
    • Assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities.
    • Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees.
    • Receiving truck orders from vendors and communicating with sales representatives for the store.
    • Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
    • Opportunity for additional work activities outside of the store. (catering events, food booths, and other events that will be staffed).
    • Fulfilling late night delivery orders with DoorDash, GrubHub, and UberEats.
    • Move and stock merchandise, including boxes, food dishes, and linens.
    • Availability to cover shifts when necessary.
    • Must maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality to support the success of the team.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace to include removing trash, dishwashing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning kitchen, dining, and restrooms.
    • Able to bend, carry and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time.
    • Be professional at all times.
    • Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business.
    • Raises and evaluations along the journey as warranted.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a kitchen manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Previous experience managing others required.
  • Experience in food preparation.
  • Reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to learn quickly, strong attention to detail, effective oral communication skills, knowledge of the restaurant environment, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships.
  • Proficiency with kitchen equipment and food safety guidelines.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a high-volume workload.
  • Time and project management skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members.


Schedule:

  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, holidays, shifts as needed.
