Empire, LA facility is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Shipping
Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Warehouse and Shipping
Manager. This position is responsible and accountable for the warehouse
administration and supervision to ensure the timely loading of products. This position requires the supervisor to be
pro-active rather than re-active.
Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities
of staff. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory
management, and documentation. Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and
utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and
materials. Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource
system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implement
strong safety policies and procedures. Requirements
Bachelorâ€™s Degree or 5 Years of Experience
5 - 8 yearsâ€™ experience with strong administration background in a production
environment where warehousing, audits and regulatory compliance are key aspects
of job profile.

Maintain the food safety

cleanliness of warehouse and surrounds.

Record keeping of
production and inventory on weekly tracking file,
Complete and update
weekly, monthly, and quarterly count of inventories,
variances to maintain data accuracy of inventories,
warehouses numbers against mass database,
tonnage shipments to warehouse manager,
as requested and specified by auditors,
Product Recall Exercise,
customer complaints and claims
Work with HSE
department and HR to ensure that all employees have been GMP+ and Feed
