Licensed Salon Assistant

Job duties of the Assistant include: greeting clients upon check in, shampooing/conditining hair, chemicals applications/ treatments, tracking inventory as well as light cleaning in shampoo/ styling area. Assistant MUST be punctual,  great multi taskers, have good customer service and communication skills, have a fashionable appearance, and a cooperative friendly attitude towards learning. A 4 week training period and COSMETOLOGY LICENSE ARE REQUIRED. The Living Room Hair Lounge is marketed as a short hair salon, primarily servicing professional  African-American women. We are seeking applicants who are  proficiently skilled in shampooing, relaxer/color application, but willing to train. Our goal here at The Living Room is to create a pleasent professional and highly skilled styling team who are passionate about servicing  the need of the everyday woman, as well as the professional business woman.
