Warehouse and Materials Technician

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse and Materials Technician to join Rocky Tops Custom Countertops.  This role is responsible for receiving, loading, organizing, storing, staging, and moving countertop materials, supplies, and equipment within the company’s warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• ·       Receive, load, and inspect incoming countertop slabs, materials, supplies, and equipment.
• ·       Verify quantities and materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• ·       Safely unload, load, and move materials using approved equipment and procedures.
• ·       Properly store and organize quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain, and other countertop materials.
• ·       Label and identify materials according to customer or project requirements.
• ·       Stage materials for fabrication and installation.
• ·       Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• ·       Assist with physical inventory counts.
• ·       Maintain organized and clean warehouse and storage.  

     Qualifications:

·      

     High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

·       Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or material-handling experience preferred.

·       Experience with countertops, stone, building materials, or fabrication operations a plus.

·       Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.

·       Basic understanding of stone handling safety.

·       Forklift experience is preferred; company certification may be required.

·       Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Dependable attendance and punctuality.

·       Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

·       Basic computer and inventory system skills preferred.

·       Valid driver’s license may be required.
