Full Time Schedule: 8:30 am – 05:00 pm Monday – Friday (extended workdays during busy season)

With five retail locations in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri, a Nationwide Education Sales Division based in Hawaii, an Events Sales Division, and our E-Commerce Divisions, we continue to experience healthy growth and financial stability. Our Distribution Center and Administration Offices, based in Oklahoma, provide sales support and infrastructure to enable our company to be prepared for future growth and expansion. 

Summary:

The Receiving Associate position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of products, verifies and keeps records of incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing outlined duties. The successful candidate must be energetic, detail oriented and eager to learn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

â—        Receive and check incoming pick tickets.

â—        Compares identifying information and counts, weight, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, or other records.

â—        Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers, inserts items into containers and affixes shipping labels on packed containers.

â—         Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

â—        Locate products using technology.

â—        Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy.

â—         Stores and stocks items, as appropriate.

â—        Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks.

â—        Wrap orders before loading trucks.

â—         Operates forklift or uses pallet jack to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving are to storage or work areas.

â—        Restock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment.

â—        Keep records of completed orders.

â—        Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.

â—        Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.

â—        Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

1 Year of Experience Preferred

Skills and Requirements:

â—        Ability to learn and apply new skills, requiring minimal supervision.

â—        Experience in handling pallets, jacks, forklifts, and another warehouse equipment.

â—        Proven experience as an order picker or another warehouse position.

â—        Great attention to detail.

â—        Diligent and punctual.

â—        Ability to follow instructions, respond to management directly and takes responsibility for own actions.

â—        Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

â—         Familiarity with computer skills; willingness to learn Point of Sale Inventory Functions.

â—        Ability to lift 100lbs.

â—        Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and must constantly reach with hands and fingers; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member is occasionally required to sit, speak, or listen. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to heights. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud at times.
