Overview of Position

 

The Account Executive is responsible for day-to-day client satisfaction and project management. In this position, primary responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a liaison between marketing, vendors, and internal staff
  • Routing of projects between internal and external stakeholders
  • Serving as the client advocate
  • Demonstrates initiative and ownership for all client projects
  • Becomes the trusted expert for the clients’ business

Responsibilities

 

  • Proactively balances internal goals and challenges with needs and expectations of client
  • Contributes during client interactions and internal meetings to add value and solutions to challenges and opportunities
  • Successfully manages and supports client and vendor relationships
  • Serving as the primary contact for project and day-to-day management of projects
  • Setting clear expectations with clients, internal team, and vendors regarding quotes, details of projects, timelines, and quality control
  • Organizing, documenting, and managing all phases of project from start to finish utilizing formalized agency process
  • Preparing and sending all project timelines to client
  • Receiving and organizing client proof feedback/calls and resolving any questions or differences into a clear, concise action plan for team members
  • Notifying and assembling appropriate team members for consultation and client calls/meetings when necessary; providing necessary information in advance of meetings and calls
  • Working with team members to coordinate and ensure projects are delivered to client on time
  • Escalating conflicts and/or excessive demands to Marketing Manager as appropriate to ensure smooth relations, and project success

 

Qualification Requirements/Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field
  • Two-to-five years agency experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with content marketing vehicles including a variety of digital and social media interfaces
  • Prior experience in building products industry a plus
