Corporate Audio Video Technician

ProVideo is seeking an audio video assistant that will reside at one of our larger, health care clients campus.  The position will require you to be involved with our tech team at our home base, but primarily will be based at the clients location in Toledo, Ohio. 

The ideal candidate will have at some knowledge and experience with the following: 

• Audio video devices
• Current audio video systems and technology
• Troubleshooting of A/V devices
• Projector maintenance
• Sound systems
• Set-up for executive presentations, including projection and sound sytems, and room controls
• Basic IT knowledge
• Associates degree or higher in a technology field. 

What You'll Be Doing:

Initially, you will be work on-site at the client's locations with existing ProVideo techs. You will be trained and acclimated to their existing systems as well as new systems that are currently being installed.  This postion will include the following tasks/responsibilities: 

• Daily troubleshooting, responding to client service ticket requests.
• Regular maintenance visits to all sites, checking for existing or possible problems with A/V systems.
• Assist existing ProVideo techs with new installations at client sites.
• Assist client staff with preparation for meetings/conferences that involve A/V systems. 
• Installation and cleaning of projector bulbs/filters. 
• Assist in the return of defective equipment.
• Daily logging of work performed.
• Create service tickets as needed.

• Assist with structural installation of displays, screens and projectors
• Maintain professional work appearance and outstanding customer interaction
• Excellent organization skills and the desire to work for a professional company.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined.
• Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Other duties as assigned.
