What You'll Do/Need (Job Summary): To produce Methods of Mfg. & BOM’s for jobs for production, Create Production AutoCAD drawing and CNC programs to the shop floor with proper material allocation & operations. Provide processing instructions to produce a quality final product. Assist in the production of quotations in a timely manner.  Create and manage vendor relations for all manufacturing needs for Company. Prove Engineering Technical Sales Engineering support to Outside Sales Managers & Clifton Vendor/Suppliers as needed. Responsible for other projects assigned by Director of Customer Service & Engineering at his/her discretion.


Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Create production instructions & job using ERP/MRP system containing BOM & MOM.
  • Create working finished drawings for production & record keeping using AutoCAD/Solidworks.
  • Create routings, Bill of Materials, & Estimated time calculations for operations on jobs.
  • Estimate working costs for customer R.F.Q.s as requested by manager.
  • Provide technical and/or vendor support to production as required.
  • Create CNC/nesting programs using Pronest software.
  • Create & assign bill of material for working fabrications.
  • Provide production processing instructions for vendors. (PO’s) and any essential additional information.
  • Currently able to create / or ability to learn how to manual draft & reverse engineer physical samples/templates.
  • Develop new and existing relationships with vendors for required services for engineering dept.
  • Communicate with Vendors for commercial and military outside fabrication.
  • Request, receive, and prepare quotes from vendors.
  • Create Vendor purchase orders.
  • Produce quotes to Customers.
  • Support Outside Sales Managers will on-site technical & Engineering support as needed.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • AutoCAD certification
  • Solidworks 3-D Modeling certification
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Positive Work Ethic & Culture
  • Organizational skills
  • Fluent in microsoft windows, works, word, excel & outlook
  • Moderate to advanced math required
  • Excellent verbal, written & communication skills required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

·       This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

·       This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


·       This position requires up to 20% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight.
