You’ll Wear Many Hats!

Our Master Electrician oversees the safe installation of residential and commercial PV systems to ensure that they conform to existing national and local building codes, maintains the proper Company documents for each project including photographs, “as built” information, and related documents, and supervises the installation team insuring all safety standards are adhered to, and interacts professionally and effectively with the customer.

 

  • Analyze and diagnose problems
  • Complete quality installation based on design specifications
  • Can read and understand electrical and structural diagrams
  • Knows OSHA standards, company safety programs and policies relative to the installation of those systems, and enforces safety standards with all personnel under your supervision
  • Responsible for interpreting PV line drawings, product literature, and referencing NEC codes and regulations. Master Electrician is responsible for a code compliant and operational system
  • Represents the company as a field contact for the customer, interacts with the customer with integrity, and displays a professional appearance and attitude
  • Participates in both formal and “in the field” training processes to advance crew members skills
  • Interacts with the back office in a professional and cooperative manner as it relates to scheduling and job assignment completion.
  • Ensures all necessary materials and tools arrive to the job site on time
  • Assists with overall crew and job site safety; staging materials, general ground support, and general site preparation and clean-up
  • Participates in regular safety training
  • Assists with completion of installation reports and paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Maintain tool management standards.

Do You Have What It Takes to Join Our Rocking Team?

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Master Electrician License in RI or MA
  • Experience reading and interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of the NEC specifically regarding PV
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the workday
  • Valid driving license and good driving record
  • Good mathematical aptitude and accuracy
  • Communicates effectively both written and verbally
  • Good decision-making ability
  • All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Ability to take any task and organize it, plan it, and implement it through to completion
  • Computer savvy
  • Can handle frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Works long hours when necessary to reach goals
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment
  • Uses time efficiently
  • Passionate about renewable energy and an interest in reducing our carbon footprint.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Polite, Punctual, and Professional
