Janitorial Supervisor

Location: Robert D. Maxwell VA Clinic (Bend CBOC), 2650 NE Courtney Drive, Bend, OR

Credible Solutions is hiring an experienced On-Site Janitorial Supervisor to lead our evening cleaning team at the Bend VA Outpatient Clinic. This role combines leadership, quality control, and hands-on cleaning responsibilities to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and compliant with Veterans Affairs and Joint Commission standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising evening janitorial operations and verifying task completion using nightly checklists
• Training and overseeing janitorial staff; ensuring all required duties are performed to standard
• Coordinating staffing coverage, addressing callouts, and maintaining shift continuity
• Performing janitorial duties alongside staff, as needed
• Ensuring supply closets are clean, stocked, and organized
• Monitoring safety, equipment usage, and compliance with cleaning protocols
• Serving as the primary point of contact for the Clinic Manager and VA COR
• Participating in monthly in-person meetings with clinic leadership and completing administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a janitorial supervisory or lead custodial role (healthcare setting preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate physical labor
• Familiarity with floor care machines and safe chemical handling
• Must pass Tier 1 background investigation and complete VA credentialing (PIV/fingerprinting)
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to complete and maintain nightly checklists and staff schedules

Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, during evening hours.
Must be available for in-person monthly meetings during normal clinic hours.
No work on federal holidays unless specifically required.
