Summary

Be an essential part of the casino accounting functions, responsible for financial accounting and preparing reports.

 

Job Duties

Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.  Responsible for auditing of the Casino Access Card issuance.  Monitors and reviews budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.  Resolves accounting discrepancies. The Revenue Audit Clerk will hold an N Access Code to perform quarterly physical inventory of the card and dice storage area and will have access to the table pits to collect necessary paperwork.   Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.  Resolve accounting discrepancies.  Completes various accounting and finance related project work.  Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. 

Qualifications

High school diploma required. Three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of accounting software; database software; and spreadsheet software. Proficiency in Excel required.  Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
