Production and Warehouse Associates wanted for Mount Vernon Manufacturing Location


Position Summary

The Production/Warehouse Associate supports manufacturing and warehouse operations through hands-on mechanical assembly, material handling, and equipment support. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of components and equipment

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, work instructions, and schematics

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively

  • Support warehouse operations including material movement, staging, and inventory organization

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required

  • Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications

  • Maintain accurate documentation related to production, repairs, and inventory

  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to meet operational goals

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance, or heavy equipment repair

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment

  • Experience working in warehouse or industrial manufacturing environments

  • Forklift operation experience (certification preferred or ability to obtain)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials as required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience

  • Forklift certification

  • Experience with inventory systems or basic production documentation
