General Laborer

The General Labor position is a great starting point if you're interested in an apprenticeship opportunity in CNC machining.  If you’re dependable, hands-on, and looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing, this is a great chance to gain valuable skills while earning and learning on the job.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play a key role in both our production process and facility upkeep. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a band saw to cut stock material and distributing it to CNC machines.
• Feeding metal parts into automatic machines and removing them when the cycle is complete.
• Performing hand-finishing work like deburring, descaling, and smoothing sharp edges.
• Monitoring and maintaining machine coolant levels.
• Removing full chip carts and other scrap material from the shop floor.
• Responsibility for cleaning and maintaining the facility, including bathrooms, breakrooms, office spaces, and the shop floor.
• Keeping your workspace safe, clean, and organized.
• Assisting in other areas as needed to help keep production on track.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of both production and cleaning tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 25 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in an environment with noise, machinery, dust, coolants, and oils.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
