Certified Addiction Counselor
Waterstone Counseling Center, LLC is seeking a dynamic and compassionate therapist to join our growing needs as we expand services in Connecticut. We are a team of exceptional providers and administrators offering the highest level of treatment.
WCC is a comprehensive outpatient practice committed to providing easy access to superior quality mental health and addiction medicine services in Connecticut.
We offer psychological and medication management services including substance use such as opiates and alcohol as well as other mental health issues including ADHD, ADD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
WCC provides a safe, supportive, and secure environment to help individuals find new resources to regain command of their lives.

The new hire is responsible for providing evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy.
Principal Duties:
Performs psychological evaluations including those mandated by various agencies.
Must be able to facilitate group therapy
Individual therapy
Documents sessions within established time parameters and in accordance with WCC policy and procedure.
Follows all established individual and group therapy protocols.
Reviews treatment plan with treatment team to ensure treatment plan being enacted by all involved.
Available for weekly provider conference call.
Alerts appropriate staff (e.g. Practice Manager, Medical and/or Clinical Director, Treatment Teams) of emergent clinical issues that occur during group sessions.
Reports to Clinical Director for supervision and (or other identified program lead) for performance evaluations.

Qualifications
Certification in Addiction Treatment such as CAC, LADC
Preferred: Licensure such as LMSW, LPC, Psychology, LCSW
CAQH and NPI registered if licensed
Current license or license in process in area of study/training preferred
Ability to obtain malpractice insurance
2 plus years experience with substance abuse counseling preferred
All employees must possess EHR documentation proficiency, and computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.
