Position Summary.

Reporting to the Supply Chain manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by coordinating all activities within the warehouse to meet operational demands and deadlines.                                                    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities. 

·         Maintain accurate inventory records by transacting incoming and outgoing goods, identifying discrepancies, and performing regular cycle counts.

·         Resolve inventory discrepancies through transaction analysis in ERP system.

·         Pick and transact inventory for manufacturing work orders.

·         Monitor stock levels and reorders inventory as needed.

·         Receive inventory, checking for proper documentation, damage and accuracy. 

·         Manages return of damaged or non-conforming product to supplier. 

·         Prepare shipping documents and labels.

·         Process customer orders by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications. 

·         Verify order accuracy before shipment. 

·         Communicate with other departments (sales, customer service, purchasing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment. 

·         Collaborating with carriers and suppliers to manage shipping logistics 

·         Manage warehouse layout and storage locations for optimal efficiency and organization. 

·         Monitor warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. 

·         Generate reports on warehouse activities and performance metrics.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

Education, Qualifications, and/or Experience. 

·         Associate’s degree in Business Management or Inventory Management and 2 yrs experience in Warehouse Operations or 4 years of experience in Warehouse Operations required.

·         Outstanding prioritization, time management and organizational skills

·         Strong attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills

·         Leadership skills

·         Experience working in an ERP system

·         Desire to learn & improve processes

·         Ability to learn new software systems

·         Professional communication skills

·         Positive attitude in contributing to other areas outside job responsibilities.

·         Works effectively with other departments 

·         Skill in basic arithmetic.

·         Fluent in English

·         Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word and Excel)

 

Physical Requirements.  

  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

  • Mobility: Bend or twist to access and traverse all areas of the warehouse 

  • Standing: Stand for extended periods, such as when picking or packing items

  • Sitting: Approximately 30% of the day 

  • Stairs: Climb warehouse ladder stairs to reach items on top racks of approximately 10ft 

  • Repetitive motions: Being able to perform repetitive motions
