MRI Coil Training and Electronics Technician
Location: Woodstock, Georgia

Due to promotions from our Electronics Department to our Field Service Organization, MIS has opening for MRI Coil Training and Electronics Technicians in the electronics laboratory.


This position requires sufficient knowledge and training skills to train electronics technicians to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, and test MRI coils down to the component level. This position will also be responsible for repairing MRI coils and being cross trained to work on other imaging electronics if needed.

The MRI Coil Training and Electronics Technician should have expertise in the following areas:

A comprehensive technical knowledge to solve and repair complex coil problems
Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits
Knowledge of digital electronics, RF communication, RF coil repair
Ability to test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic probes, network analyzers, etc.
Judgment in determining work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments
Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, manuals, handbooks and technical specifications
Ability to work with or without schematics

Minimum Qualifications Standards:
Training and work experience that would allow effective and efficient troubleshooting, repair, and testing of MRI coils to the component level
Live or relocate to a reasonable commuting distance to downtown Woodstock, Georgia area
