About the Role

The Account Executive (AE) is the face of KCL Home Health within the community. The leader in this role will focus on building trust with existing referral sources, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with the office-based team to ensure smooth transitions for patients entering our care. You’ll partner with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, and community organizations to grow awareness and secure appropriate referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, grow, and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, and senior living communities
  • Conduct regular in-person outreach to build rapport and educate partners on KCL’s services
  • Attend community events and represent KCL as a trusted healthcare resource
  • Collaborate closely with the admissions and scheduling teams to ensure timely, smooth onboarding for referred patients
  • Serve as a liaison between referral partners and internal teams to flag issues, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve conversion
  • Maintain structured logs of outreach efforts, lead follow-ups, and referral outcomes using tracking tools (CRM, spreadsheets, planners, etc.)
  • Summarize referral trends, barriers, and wins in a weekly check-in with leadership
  • Report quarterly insights back to leadership to help refine territory strategy and target high-opportunity sources
  • Meet or exceed weekly referral volume goals while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and internal documentation standards
  • Support the development and improvement of business development operations by helping standardize outreach processes, scripts, and follow-up systems across the team

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 2+ year of experience in healthcare outreach, sales, or business development
  • Established network within the broader Palm Beach County healthcare community
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in the field locally Monday–Friday
  • Comfort using basic tracking tools (Google Sheets, CRM, or similar)
  • Basic Analytical Skills (Pivot Table, Vlookup, Etc.)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
