Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- New Business development. Maintaining key information in the prospect database (infusionsoft). Maintain sales pipeline to achieve goals for new sales.
- Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for proactive account retention.
- Increase revenue and profitability by executing sound plans on retention calls to improve the customers’ service and/or profitability.
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Propose customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of customers’ needs, pricing and competition; effectively communicate pricing and service strategies.
- Acquire in depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.
- Maintain current knowledge of external market trends and internal sale strategies and operational capabilities.
- Work closely and effectively communicate with waste haulers as well as end users (real estate developers / investors).
Skills Required
- Generate sales leads for the allocated territory and meet/exceed Sales Goals.
- Promote company products and services in assigned territory
- Organize presentations to new customers (real estate developers / investors).
- Maintain extremely good relations with key and primary accounts in the allocated region.
- Effectively manage, supervise and guide waste hauling representatives as well as real estate developers / investors in assigned territory and ensure the territory is well covered by the representatives.
- Effectively and efficiently organize / turnaround orders.
- Ensure quality of the sale and timely closure
- Superior Customer Service skills and customer retention skills
- Must be very organized and responsive
- 3-5 years sales experience; preferably in the real estate or waste management industry
- College degree desired but not required
