Position Summary:
This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities in commercial and institutional projects.
This is a dynamic, customer-facing role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a hunter mentality.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain and grow strong, long-term relationships with mechanical contractors, building operators and key decision-makers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional service and timely support.
- Conduct regular in-person meetings to review current and future business opportunities.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory, including contractors, government organizations, engineering firms, and design-build companies.
- Prospect and qualify new leads, respond to RFQs and RFPs, and develop customized solutions to meet client needs.
- Promote Delta Water Products’ full range of building system solutions including booster systems, HVAC pumps, pressure tanks, controls, and custom-built assemblies.
Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance and product recommendations tailored to customer applications.
- Collaborate with inside sales and vendor partners to deliver accurate and competitive solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and market conditions affecting mechanical systems and water infrastructure.
Territory & Sales Management
- Work with Sales Manager to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets in the territory.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and opportunities using CRM software and sales call reporting tools.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and training sessions as needed to represent the company and enhance market presence.
Work Environment & Travel
- Hybrid work environment with regular travel throughout Southern Alberta and Southeastern BC.
- Overnight travel required for customer visits, training, and trade events.
- Company vehicle or car allowance provided.
Territory: Southern Alberta and Southeastern British Columbia

- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
- Company cell phone and laptop
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Paid vacation 3 weeks after 1 year
- Benefits and paid sick days after 90-days
