Acquisitions Analyst - Real Estate

Progress Residential is a private REIT that focuses on acquiring, renovating, leasing, and managing single-family homes in the U.S.  We are one of the largest and fastest growing companies in this asset class.  Our experienced team is committed to building a geographically diverse portfolio of high quality single-family homes.  We currently own and lease 10,000 homes in 26 markets across the nation.

Job Description:

• Analyze proposed properties in your assigned markets and determine if purchase meets our criteria
• Work with our buyer’s agents
• Negotiate with sellers
• Assist Auction department with acquisitions in your markets
• Assist with bulk purchases in your markets
• Work with construction and property management prior to and  after closing
• Become knowledgeable about your markets
• Travel to markets and provide reports to construction and property management

Qualifications:

• Real Estate Salesperson or Broker License, preferably in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee or Mississippi                              
• Must have 3+ years residential real estate experience
• BPO and REO experience a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with ability to prioritize and multi-task well
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Windows and Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Position includes some travel; not expected to exceed 20%
