๐ฉบ What Youโll Do:As ADON, youโll support the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day clinical operations and guide our nursing team in delivering the highest standard of resident-centered care.

Oversee and support nursing staff across unitsโcoaching, mentoring, and ensuring high performance

Assist in recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews of clinical staff

Participate in onboarding, in-service education, and ongoing clinical training

Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality of care, assess staff performance, and identify hazards or service gaps
-
Collaborate on care planning, change-of-condition reporting, and documentation compliance
-
Conduct chart audits, identify improvement areas, and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives

Ensure infection control protocols and regulatory standards are followed

Serve as a point of contact for residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Step in for the DON as needed to ensure seamless operation of the nursing department

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nursing

3+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
-
Prior Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility experience is highly preferred

Strong leadership, time management, and clinical decision-making skills

Proficiency in documentation, audits, and care plan coordination
