Auto GL Claims Adjuster
Duties and Responsibilities - Analyzing insurance claims to determine extent of insurance carrier's liability, adjusting claims with an emphasis on including - complex coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation of exposure to properly establish reserves for losses and managing the legal aspects of assigned claims. Documenting file activity on a timely basis and overseeing all aspects of the claim.
Developing and executing resolution strategy plans to achieve appropriate claim results and timely closures. Interacting frequently with insured's, claimants and/or attorneys as needed to direct negotiations and achieve settlement.
Requirements - Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. State insurance licenses will be needed and applicant can have no felony convictions in order to qualify.
Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, as well as experience with claims software is imperative.
