AWS/CWI/ICC Structural Steel/ANST NDT Inspector

Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for an AWS/CWI, ICC Structural Steel and ANST NDT Inspector in the San Jose  area. The successful candidate will be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of structural steel welding and bolting. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blue prints and current code requirements. Field duties will include shop and field inspection of structural steel welds, bolting, and NDT UT testing. Maintenance of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFI's, and other pertinent field data as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client's representatives are required.

Education:

Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Current AWS/CWI and/or ICC Structural Steel certifications required. ANST NDT certification preferred.

Required Skills:

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 3 years experience working in the construction quality industry, a positive attitude, good organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license and good driving record. Candidate may be subject to a background check and drug screen test.
