Bottle Sorter/Shipper

Banff Bottle Depot is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated individual to join our team as a Bottle Sorter/Shipper.

This is a physically active position that involves sorting recyclable beverage containers, preparing shipments, assisting with daily depot operations and maintaining a clean and organized workplace.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, can maintain a steady work pace and takes pride in doing their job accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, count and organize recyclable beverage containers accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, package and organize materials for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks and assist with shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment when trained and authorized.
• Assist customers with their beverage container returns as required.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Complete basic shipping and inventory documentation.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Perform general cleaning and other depot duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a bottle depot, warehouse or physically demanding environment is an asset but not required.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Forklift experience is an asset, but training may be provided.
