We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our company as Director Capital Markets. Candidates should have proven experience in the development of long term client relationships in real estate, finance or a related industry . This position reports directly to our Investment Principal and will interact extensively with various departments within Hongkun USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds sustainable business relationships with key stakeholders in order to promote the business of the Hongkun USA
  • Makes an input into the development of Strategic Plans and institutional capacity for Hongkun USA and oversees smooth implementation
  • Market our investment strategy to existing and prospective investors
  • Develops and manages divisional budget in line with set guidelines
  • Proficiently explain these strategies and execution methodologies to our investor clients and advisors at a level of sophistication that is appropriate for the audience
  • Develop a thorough understanding of industry trends as well as the economic, supply/demand, and demographic drivers for each property market.
  • Review contracts including purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, third party vendor contracts, and partnership agreements
  • Develop programmatic investor behavior through unique relationship enhancement methodologies and leverage the use of situational prospecting to develop new investor relationships
  • Maintain relationships and manage communications with equity partners
  • Effectively manages and develops the department’s human capital, instilling a high performance culture in order to achieve the Authority’s strategic objectives
  • Undertakes such other related duties as directed by the supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Management or related field
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Commercial  & Residential Real Estate and specifically the capital markets arena
  • Innovative thinking with regards to relationship management
  • Can communicate clearly to articulate the strategic and/or financial implications of various scenarios, as necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, competency in Excel, and experience with complicated transaction structures
  • The ability and desire to understand specific markets and industry trends and how they relate to each project and its specific strategy
  • Internally motivated and able to perform effectively with limited supervision and with various team members, investors, or external service providers
  • Ability to interact with senior management, third-party vendors, and operational staff in a positive and effective manner
  • Possesses a high standard of professionalism and integrity
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines
  • Some travel involved
