Deanston House is looking for a chef who will prepare meals utilizing as much locally sourced meat/produce/dairy that is available.

We are not looking for chefs who want to warm up prepared foods or cut corners. The owner is a classically trained chef who has gotten to know most of the local farms and familiarized himself with what is available in the area.

The building has gone through a 3 1/2 year renovation and now has an all new kitchen with the latest equipment.

Our Banquet Chef will be responsible for the production of food for all of our catered events on the property. The person in this Banquet Chef roll will be in charge of maintaining standards for preparation, quality, and plate presentation.

The Banquet Chef will uphold all of the safety and sanitation standards/regulations for our events. This person will work with their catering staff to ensure standards are met or exceed for all events they are working. Along with the Executive Chef, the Banquet Chef will assist in creating Catering/Banquet menus and other assigned roles.
