DESCRIPTION

The Department Maintenance Manager is responsible of the maintenance function, technical directions and operations of the plant, and following all SOPs and GMPs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains the Maintenance organization.
• Guides and builds technical skills to the Maintenance and Operations Associates.
• Maintains critical components of Total Productive Maintenance, Centerline Program, Preventative Maintenance Programs, parts and storeroom operations, Clean/ Inspect/ Lubricate Programs, etc.
• Compliance with quality, safety, regulatory needs, and cGMP guidelines and ensures all of the associates
• Monitors associate performance and gives training if needed
• Participate in strategic technical planning and major projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in management of high speed packaging equipment with all of the elements of TPM
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering
• Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Machine Repair, Preventative Maintenance, HVAC, and safe and effective operation of Boiler and Chiller Plants
• Background in food, drug, or nutraceutical industry is required
• Implement TPM systems
