Direct Support Professional - Residential Youth
We are hiring for Direct Support Professionals!

Starting Pay: $17.
From 4 pm-10 pm Monday-Thursday, you receive$ 1 more per hourshift differential. On the weekends, from Friday at 4 pm to Monday, 8 am$1 more per hourshift differential

Basic Purpose
The DSP is responsible for the efficient operation of the shift assigned to them by their immediate supervisor. The DSP must maintain a clinical and authoritative relationship with each resident while providing the best treatment and care possible.
The responsibilities of the DSP include but are not limited to the following:
Duties
- Maintain order and clinical flow of each shift according to the shift schedule.
- Plan and activate group activities along with the other shift DSP according to the outcome of the goal group decisions.
- Attend required staff meetings.
- Work collaboratively with all Residential Staff to maintain the highest quality of Residential care.
- Maintain strong communication with all employees to ensure the strength and continuity of the Residential Program.
- Be present in all group therapy sessions pertaining to the shift to which they are assigned.
- Maintain active leadership in group therapy to help guide the residents to a positive outcome.
- Follow all clinical plans set forth by program requirements and the Clinical Executive Director of SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma with some college preferred.
- Maintain a Valid Tennessee Drivers License with an F Endorsement.
- Ability to maintain focus on the Clinical needs of each resident.
- Ability to follow clinical and residential treatment plans and policies of the program.
- Capability to train on and understand the type of population served by Counseling and Consultation Services, Inc.
- Positive Self-motivator.
- Ability to take direction from the Direct Care Manager.
- Adaptable to change.
