Director - e-Commerce Sales & Channel Management

JEG & Sons, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Director of Sales & Channel Management for our rapidly growing e-commerce/distribution company.  The successful candidate will be  Highly experienced and innovative Manager with e-Commerce/Market Place & Retail experience with a superior record of Internet revenue generation. This person will be responsible for developing the organization’s e-commerce, marketplace & brick and mortar strategies, working with Business Development and a highly skilled team of Account Managers to develop & execute plans and achieve established organizational targets.  

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish annual revenue targets by channel and supporting operating budget
  • Assign Account Managers their accounts and revenue targets for each account
  • Design and recommend multi-channel sales programs (e-commerce, marketplace & brick & mortar)
  • Achieve revenue targets by successfully driving the Account Management team and ensuring content and listings are always up to date and accurate
  • Responsible for competitive pricing on e-commerce accounts while maintaining strong margins 
  • Plan for and execute of successful new product launches across all channels
  • Provide guidance and strategy for business development representatives
  • Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Account Managers and support (listing) team members; develop training programs as needed
  • Create programs and incentive plans to drive Account Managers to meet/exceed revenue goals
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Develop and drive key metrics, KPIs, financial targets, milestones for achieving established goals
  • Work closely with Purchasing, giving Buyers input on trends, promos and customer feedback
  • Work closely with Customer Service department to ensure to ensure strong customer relationships and understanding of customer issues

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Vast sales and marketing experience; 5-10 years’ experience in ecommerce in the consumer electronics industry
  • Experience managing e-commerce, market place & retail channels to achieve revenue goals
  • Experience training, directing, encouraging, supporting, and coaching account managers and support staff
  • Strong proficiency in improvements to site conversion rates and functionality
  • Ability to negotiate and structure partnerships
  • Experienced leader, promoter of  continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, business partners, suppliers, and customers
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
