Director of Construction Services (San Jose)

Ninyo & Moore, an ENR Top 500 Engineering firm with offices in CA, NV, AZ, CO and TX, has an immediate opening for a Director of Construction Services for our San Jose, CA office.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who has at least 10 years of materials testing and inspection experience; has successfully managed public works, multi-story commercial, transportation, and K-12 school projects; and has excellent communication and people management skills.
Performance Expectations:
• Lead and manage a team of project managers, supervisors, dispatchers, inspectors, and laboratory
technicians in the San Francisco Bay Area in all aspects of the construction materials testing and
inspection,
• Grow our practice by providing superior client service to an established client base,
• Prepare winning proposals and maintain excellent relationship with clients, and
• Foster teamwork within the region and the company.
Preferred Background:
• B.S. /B.A. /M.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, and Materials Engineering preferred,
or related field.
• Experience with quantity take-offs for proposal preparation.
• Local experience and familiarity with the local codes and practices.
• A minimum of ten years experience in the materials testing and inspection field perform-ing field
inspection and project management.
