Description

Full Time 1^st shift Electric Engineer position.

Support Electricians in drive and control trouble shooting. Maintain updated programs on file for all programs and plc controls. Assist with other elections and mechanical project engineers on capital projects. Do duties of supervisor during their absence.

Responsibilities

· Give technical assistance

· Co-ordinate maintain outages and project implementation

· Have strong trouble shooting skills

· Direct and/or co-ordinate all electrical and instrument projects with in area

· Order parts for contractors when working on cost plus jobs

· Assist with the supervisor to ensure all hourly employees are trained and knowledgeable and adhere to mill safety polices and regulations

· Stay current with new drive and control technologies through self-study, training, and hands on

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree

· 5 years of relevant experience

· Trouble shooting experience

· Basic knowledge of J.D. Edwards system

· Knowledge of production process, costs, and quality control
