Building Maintainence Coordinator/Office Assistant (Kearny Mesa)

Ninyo & Moore, Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants, has an immediate need for an experienced Facilities Coordinator/Office Assistant in the San Diego office. The successful candidate will support the Administrative staff.

(50%) Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Handling building repairs and maintenance (or retaining a contractor to do the work).
* Oversee both janitorial and lawn maintenance services.
* Develop and maintain office inventories, furniture assembly and moves, pickup and deliver supplies.
   and coordinate & maintain company vehicles.

(50%) Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Keeping the office environment clean and organized.
* Order and maintain office supplies & equipment.
* Handle supplies procurement and inventory updates.
* Compile and organize data.
* Receive, distribute, and prepare mail and shipments.
* Filing, scanning/copying and archiving, and provide general support to the office staff as needed.
* Light computer skills preferred (Word, Excel and Outlook) to assist with scanning, archiving and
  tracking inventory.

May need to work evenings or weekends on occasion.

Required Skills: The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs; good organizational, time management, and follow-through skills; be detailed-oriented; possess a strong work ethic; and adhere to deadlines. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Must have a good driving record (subject to Motor Vehicle Report), and be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.
