Front Desk Staff
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Staff at The Crag are responsible for a variety of tasks, including retail, membership and program sales; member and guest check-in; belay instruction and facility orientation and cleaning. Front Desk Staff are vital in guiding our customers’ experience, maintaining the culture of The Crag and creating an environment where all are welcome.
Duties:
• Open and close the facility
• Greet and check-in members and guests
• Give facility orientations and belay tests
• Teach beginning and intermediate climbing classes based on experience and skill
• Sell retail, programs & memberships
• Operate cash register and computerized point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain knowledge of gym programs and products
• Complete and maintain instruction and incident logs
• Answer phones, take messages, schedule groups, parties, students for classes/clinics/events
• Maintain a clean and organized gym environment for all patrons and staff
• Support and grow The Crag’s community
