The Role

We are seeking a GIS Analyst to join our growing company and team. This is a hands-on opportunity, ideally for a new graduate, to apply your GIS knowledge in a real-world, tech-driven environment where your work directly supports the energy sector. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, initiative, and learning. 

 
What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with data formatting, conversion, and standardization (e.g., shapefiles, CSVs, geodatabases) 
  • Maintain and update internal mapping layers used by our software tools
  • Prepare and deliver customized geospatial data for clients 
  • Source and integrate data from both open-source and subscription providers (e.g., Altalis) 
  • Clean, organize, and maintain geospatial datasets in internal systems 
  • Supporting mapping workflows for field operations, infrastructure, and pipeline integrity 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data quality, accuracy, and usability 

Who we are looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, or a related field  
  • Experience with GIS mapping tools such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or other related software 
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data from multiple sources 
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn how GIS drives innovation in the energy sector 
  • A clear communicator who can work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
