Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced HR Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Human Resources department. This is a dynamic, people-centered role that requires excellent communication, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills. You’ll be an integral part of supporting our leadership, employees, and company culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold and demonstrate our Core Values: Safety, Accountability, Good to Great, and All In
• Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, partnering with staffing agencies, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
• Manage employee off-boarding, including terminations and exit interviews
• Maintain and update job descriptions and assist employees in understanding their roles
• Act as a point of contact for employees across all departments
• Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and workplace issues
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Complete required reporting for federal and state agencies
• Monitor and verify employee time and attendance records
• Administer open enrollment, benefits, insurance, and 401(k) programs
• Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies
• Support company culture through employee engagement and event planning
• Represent TST at job fairs, school visits, and community events

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
• Proven experience in recruiting is required
• Prior experience in Human Resources within a business environment is strongly preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
