Shift: Third Shift (must be able to train on First shift for a period of up to eight weeks)

Job Description:

Must be able to conduct inspection of parts and assist machine operators and set-up technicians in producing quality products in the most efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure follow-up of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Assist with troubleshooting and correcting production problems.  Requires considerable liaison between departments.
• Conduct Quality audits through regular-in process inspections of work and materials.
• Logs on to jobs and reports pieces produced using Sussex Wire’s ERP system.
• Maintain, record, and update in process QA sheets for critical dimensions and visual inspection consistent with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Controlled drawings and prints.

 Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certificate from certified mechanical program.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient computer skills including data entry, spreadsheets and word processing. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
