DESCRIPTIONS

Ensure that US Domestic operational logistics activities are performed efficiently and resourced appropriately, priorities activities to meet agreed KPIs and functional goals, steward performance, address issues and influence solutions. Leads a team of 5 supply logistic coordinators. Interfaces with other functions i.e. procurement, finance, sales and third party service providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and participate DOIMS via role of administrator or sponsor.

• Performance stewardship and provide cost of sites under responsibility to regional supply chain management, including effective inventory management.

• Provide full compliance to relevant HSSE requirements as related to the area of accountability.

• Manage supply chain function in internal and external discussions.

• Perform day to day management of terminals, carriers, drumming facilities, warehouse, and third party service providers.

• Handle resolutions of supply exception and site related complaints.

• Implement and identify continuous improvement activities within operational logistics.

• Lead or participate in regional and global supply chain reports.

   

  QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or Supply Chain.
  Has 10 + years in Chemicals industry and logistics operation.

• 6 + years of supervisory experience.

• Has solid analytical skills

• Effective under pressure

• 5 + years’ experience with customer focused approach.

• 5 to 10 years of supply chain or manufacturing in operations and logistic roles.

• Effective communicator used to building and maintaining relationship internally and externally.
