DESCRIPTION

Support sortation systems including all aspects of traditional distribution and material handling equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and performs corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance of the material handling system and its associated components
• Troubleshoot, repair, test and maintain the Material Handling System and its associated components as needed
• Provide accurate and timely written reports of operational and maintenance issues
• Interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
• Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities schedule.
• With the approval of Maintenance Shift Supervisor order and maintain a stock of spare parts necessary for proper servicing of the material handling system.
• Oversee maintenance of service and test equipment.
• Report, in writing, all production problems, including any safety issues, to the Shift Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology
