Description
The Manufacturing Manger will direct and coordinate activities of the mold core shipping/receiving, scheduling, finishing, pattern, and melt operations by performing the following duties personally.
Responsibilities
- Mange, Lead and coordinate departments to achieve desired business results and performance
- Promote safety awareness, accident prevention and safe work environment
- Communicate with the facility manger to formulate and set strategies, performance and policies targets for their areas of responsibility
- Review operating and production reports
- Resolve manufacturing problems to guarantee minimum costs and prevent operational delays
- Daily interactions to provide positive reinforcement, training, constant communication, encouragement and inspiration mandatory to sustain an engaged and inspired workforce
- Assists with operations schedules and coordinates manufacturing problems to guarantee production and quality of products meets specifications
- Displays commitment to the safety culture by regular hands on interaction with key managers supervisors and employees within the facility
- Review production schedules with facility manger to ascertain product such as types quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations
- Plan production operation, establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Foundry Experience
- Supervisory experience
